NOW that you totally understand where I’m coming from, listening to Cowboy Slots advice, here’s a list of DO’s and DON’T’s and methods of MAYBE bettering your edge while gambling. In other words : GAMBLING SMART
Throughout Cowboy Slots videos here’s a little of what he advises:
- Whatever money ( for entertainment) you have to play for the SLOTS that DAY , be sure to do it in sessions. For example: Let’s say I have $500 to spend for entertainment on SLOTS that one particular DAY. Divide your $500 into $100 sessions. As Brantley and Mark say,” After each session, remove yourself from the casino and do something else, like have lunch at a restaurant. “ This way, you won’t be caught up in the action. It will give you time to think what will be better for YOU instead of the CASINO.
- FIRST SESSION : With $100 - look for : 25 cent machine w/ 5 credits max bet. You will play max. OLD SCHOOL SLOTS - such as 👇:

STEP ONE : The goal here is to only double your money and walk away. IF you are lucky and you DOUBLE YOUR MONEY Be sure to place that winning $100 in your pocket and continue playing with the $100 you just played with.
3. SESSION 2 or STEP TWO : You are now going to play with $200 ( which means you’re using money from your original $500 Cash Limit. NOW - We are moving up the denomination. It’s time to find a ONE DOLLAR MACHINE and start playing only SINGLE CREDIT BETS. The goal here is to DOUBLE YOUR MONEY. In effect your $200’s will hopefully become $400. 4. SESSION 3 or STEP THREE Once you have $400 ( if not, go back to STEP ONE. Now you’re ready to move onto $5 machine — only playing single credits
Set aside $200 and only play with $200. Key is DOUBLE your winnings once again.
[ Reminder : You should have $300 cash placed away in your safe. Never touch this . It’s your winnings to take home.
YOU SHOULD HAVE $600 ( $400 + $200 ) in your payroll now.
[ Remember to step away and leave the Casino. Head to the restaurant for Dinner for a couple of hours]
5. SESSION 4 or STEP FOUR - NOW PLAY HIGH LIMITS
The Risk is higher now - make a choice to stop with $600 or keep going. Once again- set aside $100 and play with $500 .Now find a $10 SLOT MACHINE- single bet only.
GOAL : Hit Hand-pay if possible
